Today I have a super fun layout that was oh la la, so fun to create! After a couple of weeks spent at Disneyworld at Orlando, I have tons of photos waiting to be scrapped and the new “Say Cheese” collection by Simple Stories has me so excited to do so!
I have such awesome memories of me, my brother and parents on the Tower of Terror ride when I was a kid, that I looked forward to the time my girls were bigger so I could go on this ride with them. I barely convinced my oldest one to go with me: she was so brave! Let me tell you, it was so scary but awesome at the same time! I had to the purchase photos they they sell outside the ride and of course I had to scrap them!
For this layout I used a white color vide cardstock as my base and cut the diagonal striped paper at 8×12” and adhered it at the top.
For my title I placed a Journaling Bits ephemera at the top of my photo and created my title using the “Hollywood” die cut. I needed a smaller alphabet sticker to create my “ Tower” subtitle so I used a Simple Vintage Essentials black and white foam alpha sticker that looked great! At the top of my title I placed a yellow foam sticker that says “Service Elevator” and fits perfectly my layout theme!
I then created 3 other embellishment clusters. As the anchor for all clusters I used the patterned paper with photo strip numbers. For the left cluster I used 3 photo strips and tucked them under my photo. I then layered on top a dice cut of a tower, the yellow ticket and the “Welcome to the Hotel” label. Finally I layered a couple of foam stickers on top as well as 2 deco brads.
Ahh the bottom right corner of my photo I created a second cluster where I included a journaling die cut, a TV, some tickets, a foam arrow and some deco brads.
Finally I created a cluster at the top right where I placed a big yellow star o top of the photo strips and layered on top some fun foam stickers and deco brads.
love how all the stickers, embellishments and papers in this collection help bring my story to life and takes me back to that fun moment at the park. While I had a blast in this ride my daughter made it clear that she’s never going back, LOL! Hope you liked it friends, Hugs!
